Inauguration: Agriculture, Health, and Pesticides: A Phyto-Victimes Exhibition

The inauguration will include speeches from hosting MEP Christophe Clergeau, HEAL Executive Director Genon Jensen, and Phyto-Victimes representatives.
The exhibition by Phyto-Victimes highlights personal stories from individuals and families whose health has been impacted by pesticide exposure, and is presented in the European Parliament SPINELLI 5G floor exhibition space from 14 to 16 October. Through compelling photos, videos, and written testimonials, it provides a deep understanding of the human cost of pesticide use.

HEAL and MEPs Manuela Ripa (EPP) and Christophe Clergeau (S&D) are delighted to invite you to a roundtable discussion entitled “Pesticides and occupational health diseases in the EU - State of play” at the European Parliament in Brussels, on 14 October from 13.00 to 14.15 in room SPINELLI 3G2.
This roundtable brings together leading experts from the medical field, trade unions, affected communities, and representatives of the European Parliament and the European Commission to discuss the health impacts of pesticide exposure, including occupational diseases such as Parkinson’s disease. Representatives from Phyto-Victimes will share powerful firsthand testimonies from those living with the consequences of pesticide exposure.
